DOGGER — SUCCESSFUL MIGRATION

The courageous DOGGER ARMY has conquered the most challenging obstacles since they began their journey. The $DOGGER V2 migration was one such challenge which tested the nerves of the community. The Army’s perseverance paid off, and the migration was completed successfully this weekend.

The new $DOGGER token contract is:

The DOGGER team required migration to transfer the value of the DOGGER community’s V1 tokens over to the new contract. The original deadline for migrating the tokens was Thursday, May 26th, 5 PM EST.

But, to be fair to everyone, we extended the deadline to Saturday, May 28th, 5 PM EST.

By the end of migration:

• 500 holders migrated and began to hold $DOGGER V2
• The top 99 holders collectively own 49.12% (491,258,000 Tokens) of supply
• The top 49 holders collectively own 38.18% (381,858,000 Tokens) of supply
• The last wallet to migrate successfully achieved migration at 5:00 PM EST on Saturday, May 28th

The reason for the token migration was to be able to have a new contract that was not renounced (so if necessary, certain updated to the contract and low-tax events can be held in the future), and to have tokenomics that rewarded holders through our new staking platform. It was necessary to migrate to DOGGER V2 to keep the supply at a sensible level and retain the token value.

The number of tokens everyone received for the migration was 1:1, there is no transfer tax for moving tokens between wallets; but to claim V2 tokens, holders had to pay a small amount of gas fee on the Ethereum blockchain. The tax on the V1 contract was the 12% on all transactions, which would have rounded up to 24% round-trip. The new contract has reduced taxes while also rewarding holders.

DOGGER is a community-focused project and we want to do everything we can to make sure the community is fairly treated. The team have worked hard to ensure a V2 token migration which is both fair to previous holders and which keeps token supply at a desirable level. However, if individual community members who missed migration or had mishaps throughout migration, we want to hear from you. We have reserved funds for this purpose — we want every* DOGGER community member to be treated fairly (*we will carefully consider each case, this does not mean that every case will be compensated):

Fundamentally, we had to push out the V2 migration to continue to drive DOGGER forward smoothly. By showing support for the project in this way, the migration has fundamentally been a success. We would like to commend the bravery of the DOGGER Army for staying strong through this progress. We would like to give special thanks to our developers for creating the migration Dapp efficiently, and working tirelessly to deliver the staking platform on time to reward DOGGERV2 holders.

Once again, the DOGGER community has proven itself to be extremely strong and resilient. We have conquered every trial so far, and there is nothing that can stop us.
